The Leyland National is a favourite bus of the company and after a couple of months operating in as-acquired condition, it was taken off the road for refurbishment. It returned in an approximation of its original London Transport livery, although it would of course have been dual-door with LT and the centre door was removed by Chase. It carries fleet number LS264 and AV garage codes, plus an LT destination blind although this was set to blank when photographed as the vehicle had just returned from a school contract for which no suitable display was available.
