| Soul Bros started bus operation in 1923 and have always been based in Olney; the company is still family-owned and now has a substantial fleet of around fifty coaches with two additional depots in Northants at Rushden and Northampton. Much of the expansion came through acquisition of other local businesses in the newly-Deregulated 1980s, but the most recent purchase was Cunningham of Daventry in July 2006, together with six vehicles and the Northampton premises. As well as the coach fleet, the Soul family also own a car dealership with branches in Olney and Milton Keynes; Rovers were sold for many years but franchises are currently held for Fiat, Subaru and Mitsubishi. |
